The Group Exercise Instructor functions under the direction of the Program Supervisor and/or Aquatics Supervisor. Responsible for designing the components, choreography, and music (if applicable) of the assigned land and/or aquatic group exercise class. Will lead participants through a safe and effective group exercise class at the appropriate and established class style and intensity.

***PRN: Monday, Wednesday, 8:30a - 9:15a (45 min spin class), Saturday 8:30a - 9:15a (45 min spin class) - most sats***

Required Minimum Education:

• High school diploma, GED or currently enrolled in high school. Required

Required Minimum Experience:

• Minimum 1 year Experience but will train under leadership supervision. Preferred

Required Minimum Skills:

• Display strong motivation for community outreach and working with people.
• Displays excellent organizational, communication, and motivational skills.
• Displays excellent health and wellness lifestyle.
• Exercise independent judgement, ingenuity, and initiative when performing roles

Required Minimum License(s) and Certification(s):

• Basic Life Support. Required
• BLS - Provisional. Required
• BLS - Instructor. Required
• ACSM, ACE, AFAA, MOSSA, NSCA, NETA, NASM, IFTA, SCW, AEA, USWFA or any similar group exercise certification accepted as certification requirement within 30 Days. Required
