Job description
Position: Family Physician
Location: Lawrence, MA
Shift: Day
Duration: Full Time
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care
- Conduct thorough patient evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs and medical best practices
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated and effective patient care
- Utilize electronic medical records to document patient encounters and maintain accurate medical records
- Stay up-to-date with current medical research and advancements in the field
- Participate in clinical research studies as appropriate
Qualifications:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Completion of residency program in desired specialty (e.g., internal medicine, pediatrics, etc.)
- Board certification or eligibility in the desired specialty
- Valid medical license in the state of practice
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge in the desired specialty area
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
Skills:
- Experience in providing PTSD care to patients
- Proficiency in addiction counseling techniques
- Knowledge of hospice palliative medicine principles and practices
- Familiarity with health coaching methodologies
- Ability to conduct clinical research studies and analyze data
- Proficient in aseptic technique for sterile procedures
- Competence in medication administration and dosage calculations
- Experience with maintaining accurate medical records
