Job Title: Senior Backend Java Developer (Trading Experience Required)

Location: New Jersey

Duration: Long Term

W2 Contract Position / ONLY USC and Gc works

Must be Located in East Coast. Must be willing to Relocate to New Jersey

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with a minimum of 8 years of experience, particularly in the financial services industry, to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise in Java development, along with a deep understanding of multi-threading, AWS, microservices architecture, ORACLE DB, Kafka or MQ, CICD, and Spring Security. Moreover, the candidate must have a proven track record of working within trading environments and be well-versed in trading systems, strategies, and technologies.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable, and reliable Java-based trading applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and implement features.
• Optimize and enhance existing trading systems to improve efficiency and reliability.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and performance optimization.
• Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in trading and financial services.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Extensive experience with multi-threading, microservices architecture, and AWS.
• Proficiency in ORACLE DB, Kafka or MQ, CICD, and Spring Security.
• Strong understanding of trading systems, strategies, and technologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
