DESCRIPTION:
The Coordinator of Sexual/Relationship Violence Prevention is responsible for coordinating all activities related to prevention and awareness initiatives on campus. This individual will act as the point-of-contact for the implementation of violence prevention activities including but not limited to education and training efforts, student programs, and faculty and staff programs. They will help facilitate resources on campus and off campus for victims of sexual violence as part of the Title IX Office. The Coordinator will manage and oversee any grants received by the College related to sexual violence prevention. They will act as liaison between all internal and external partners, faculty, staff, and students, thereby ensuring the projects achieve their stated goals and objectives. Some evening and weekend work is to be expected.
OUTCOMES:
Ensure the obligations set forth by the Title IX regulations and the Title IX Office are met and the York College community is equipped to serve as an active bystander against sexual violence through educational and prevention programming on SADVDVS issues.
