Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Assembler / Fabricator to join our team in the production of custom trailers. In this role, you will be responsible for assembling and building custom trailers according to blueprints and specifications, utilizing your expertise in metal work, math, and hands-on craftsmanship. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the quality and functionality of our custom trailers.

• Interpret and comprehend blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute trailer assembly and construction.

• Use a variety of hand tools, power tools, and machinery to shape, cut, and join materials such as wood, metal, and composite materials.

• Measure, mark, and arrange materials with precision, ensuring adherence to design specifications.

• Assemble components and sub-assemblies, following established guidelines and processes, to construct the final trailer product.

• Collaborate with team members, including engineers and designers, to troubleshoot and resolve any construction or assembly challenges.

• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring tools and equipment are properly cared for and stored.

• Adhere to safety protocols and practices, promoting a secure working environment for yourself and colleagues.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of your work, making necessary adjustments to achieve high standards of craftsmanship.

• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding progress, challenges, and potential improvements.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in carpentry, metal fabricating, or assembly work, preferably in the context of custom trailer construction.

- Proficiency in interpreting and working with blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements.

- Strong math skills to accurately calculate measurements, dimensions, and angles.

- Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power tools used in metal fabricating and assembly processes.

- Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.

- Physical capability to lift, carry, and manipulate materials and equipment as required.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors.
