Do you have a want to get into the medical field but unsure where to start? Midland Care is now hiring for Companions to join our Companion Progression Program to obtain their CNA certifications.

Have you thought about working in health care but have no training? Join Midland Care as a Companion and receive free education to obtain your certification(s). Midland Care will help you become a Certified Nurse Aide (CNA) with the option of progressing to a Home Health Aid (HHA). You will be paid while participating in the Midland Care Aide Progression Program. There is not an out-of-pocket cost to receive your certification(s).

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Companion to CNA in Lawrence. The Companion will provide support and companionship to patients in healthcare settings, assisting them with their daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

Employment Status: Full-time

Pay: $15- $16/hr. (Based on work location)

Program Requirements

Applicants 18 years of age to participate in the Midland Care Aide Progression Program. Participants must meet a reading requirement for the HHA and CMA courses. Must possess valid Kansas Driver’s License, in force automobile liability insurance and maintain a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) that meets organization’s insurability standard as defined by Midland policy.
