Family Law Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a full time/direct hire Family Law Paralegal at a law firm in Ft. Lauderdale, FL . Our client is seeking a candidate with minimum 3 years' experience in Family Law .

Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
Bill time
Assist in drafting legal documents such as, affidavits, pleadings, motions, discovery, appeals, and correspondence to opposing counsel and to the court
Maintain file and client database up to date
Conduct legal research, analyze and draft memos based on research
Prepare detailed and complex document productions and trial or hearing notebooks
Correspond with clients, opposing counsel, and other interested parties in a professional manner
Prep for meetings, hearings, depositions, trials, mediations, etc.
Prepare and e-file documents with Florida State Court
Qualifications & Education
Bachelor\u2019s degree or Paralegal Certificate (preferred) or equivalent work experience in the field of Family Law
Minimum 3 years' experience as a Family Law Paralegal
Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; detail-oriented and very organized
Organized and efficient
Demonstrated time management skills
Legal research skills; Experience with Lexis Nexis or Westlaw
Proficient in Microsoft Office and Suites
Compensation and Benefits
This posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients. Depending on the specific client, location, and role, the salary range is estimated to be $65,000 - $80,000 and benefits may include 401k matching, medical, dental, and vision insurance options.
