Job Summary

The Program Coordinator role within OTD is unique role which provides opportunity for professional growth. This position will provide executive support and function as a key member of the OTD operations team. While some basic administrative tasks for the team will be covered by the individual in this role, most standard administrative work will be covered by a central service core, thus allowing margin for this role to assist in unique events and activities such as Dolphin Tank and Innovation Days. This individual will assist with special projects that enhance and facilitate the mission for the office. Such projects could include patent docket management, internal database management, compliance, and more. There is exciting work to be done and we are looking for a versatile, energetic, optimistic, customer-service oriented, professional, team player who is willing to learn about tech dev at UTSW and wants to use their time and talent on a team where the work has impact. We are searching for an individual that has a passion for our mission and is interested in a career path in the Office for Technology Development.

This position is a hybrid position. After initial training, the position will be two to three days on campus. Remote days and hours are flexible.  

Preferred Skills:

Required Experience and Education

Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Health Care Administration, Education/Social Science, or related field, and at least five (5) years experience in appropriate field required.

May consider additional years of experience in lieu of education.
