We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Foreman to oversee a highways construction scheme in Lincoln. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of the project, which involves block paving, signage installation, drainage works, and footway improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
·Lead and manage on-site construction activities, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards.
·Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel to optimize resources and meet project deadlines.
·Monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures as necessary to ensure project delivery according to schedule and budget.
·Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to ensure workmanship meets established standards and specifications.
·Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and resource allocations.
·Foster a culture of safety and compliance by enforcing site rules, conducting toolbox talks, and promoting best practices in health and safety.

Requirements:
·Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry, preferably in highways or infrastructure projects.
·Strong technical knowledge of highways construction methods, materials, and specifications.
·Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to effectively motivate and coordinate site personnel.
·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
·Valid CSCS card and relevant industry qualifications (e.g., SSSTS, SMSTS).
