Job description
The Director of Client Growth is a part of Unosquares Client Success Functional Unit, and is the person that directly oversees the Client Growth team, floating between client success and business development. They are expected to manage the Client Growth team in a way that combines the customers goals with the businesss goals to form a cohesive, data-led, and results-driven organization.
The Director of Client Growth is the one responsible for driving value for customers, thereby enabling the growth of Unosquares footprint across our account Portfolio. The Director of Client Growth will have a hands-on approach, keeping a close relationship with the most noteworthy accounts and supporting the Client Growth Executives working beneath them.
As the Director of Client Growth, you will:
- Lead the Client Growth team, from building the department to developing it for scalability and sustained growth, with all the people, processes, and strategies optimized in a customer-first manner. Enable growth of key accounts and upselling to best allow Unosquare to capture additional workstreams and business within our portfolio of accounts.
- Work with the Director of CS Operations (CSOPs) to ensure customer success efforts are happening in tandem, priorities are aligned, and that the relationship between CGXs and CSOps remains fruitful and strong.
- Determine the metrics, health scores, and KPIs relevant to each account, the entire team, and the companys business as a whole.
- Increase customer loyalty and retention, and customer satisfaction while actively setting and contributing to churn reduction tactics.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing to create and optimize the upsell and cross-sell strategies the CS team uses to increase ROI.
- Draft and implement compensation plans for the entire CGX team with the goal of encouraging productivity and performance and rewarding customer-goal and business[1]goal achievement.
- Manage relationships across the entire CS team, helping others on the team maintain and improve customer relationships.
To be successful in the role, you must possess:
- Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Customer Success Manager or Manager of AEs, leading a customer success team with proven performance and specific revenue goal achievement (typically set by the company interviewing for such a position).
- A 4 Year College Degree, with a technical undergrad degree being an added advantage.
- Deep understanding of Nearshore/Offshore Staff Augmentation / Staffing, with knowledge of software and SaaS industries being expected as well.
- Expert communication skills and the ability to hold C-level customer conversations that drive business for both parties and move the relationship forward.
- Business development knowledge and experience growing a business.
- Strong analytical and goal-oriented mindset backed by expert-level project management knowledge and skillset.
- Advanced business experience and ability to create strategies, guidelines, and objectives and implement them while driving business growth and creating data-driven reports.
- Ability and availability to travel- with a distributed team and client base, travel-readiness is a must, as is a valid and up to date US Passport
