Overview
This client is industry-leading Pharmaceutical focused on leading the way in transforming global healthcare to save and sustain lives.
In this role you will perform routine and non-routine cGMP instrument calibrations, including maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of equipment and instruments for manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Responsibilities:
Provide timely and accurate calibration support to manufacturing, packaging, quality, and other supporting departments where GMP instruments are used.
Set-up standards and special purpose laboratory equipment to test, evaluate, and calibrate instruments, including researching instrument speciation.
Complete all calibrations in compliance with applicable standard operating procedures or follow manufacture’s manual/procedures for calibration when applicable.
Responsible for instrument re-certification with outside standard laboratories, which includes performing incoming inspections and documentation reviews on these instruments.
Participate in continuous improvement functions (Lean initiatives), which increase efficiency, solve problems, and improve quality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma required; Associates Degree in electrical or electronics or industrial controls preferred.
Minimum 3-year calibration or related field experience in the pharmaceutical industry with proven problem solving skills.
Thorough understanding of calibration with an ability to deal with moderately complex processes and procedures.
Must be able to demonstrate judgment and initiative in problem resolution.
Must be able to work unsupervised.
