On Call Coordinator needed for Home Care in Columbus, Ohio. Want to make a difference every day? Like to solve puzzles? Have excellent Customer service abilities? Join Visiting Angels Columbus West, an award-winning Home Care Company! We are searching for a weekly on-call scheduler to work with our clients and caregivers to provide quality home care services. This is a challenging but rewarding opportunity for someone who wants to feel like they are making a difference in the life of seniors in Central Ohio by matching caregiver skills/talents with client needs. Must be able to multi-task at a high level and be able to "fit" and change schedules together as needed. Work from "home" on evenings and weekends answering all incoming calls, answering questions from clients and caregivers, scheduling caregivers to fill any cancellations if come in, logging and communicating to client and caregivers any changes, fielding new service or employment inquiries and providing the highest quality service to our clients and caregivers. While on "duty" you may sleep overnight but must be prepared to answer the phone in the rare instance a call comes in after 10pm. You may also carry on with your normal daily activities, and events throughout the weekend, provided you have ready access to your cell phone,(provided) laptop (provided) and are able to go to a quiet area to answer calls and resolve questions, concerns or issues. Weekday Evening "on duty" hours start at 5:00pm and end 8:00am next morning. Weekend Coordinator "on Duty " hours start Friday at 5:00 PM and ends Monday at 8:00 AM. Hours are compensated as follows:

• Weekday evenings $30 (=2 hours at 15 per hour)
• Friday evening $50 (=2 1/2 hours at $20 per hour)
• Saturday $100 (=5 hours at $20 per hour)
• Sunday $100 (=5 hours at $20 per hour)

A laptop and cell phone for use will be provided.

• Schedule caregiver team for hours of service on open hours/shifts on existing cases.
• Answers calls promptly, determines the nature of the call, and handles any scheduling-related calls.
• Maintain computer schedules and ensure timely data entry for clients and caregivers.
• Contact clients and caregivers regarding day-to-day scheduling changes.
• Monitor telephony logs on a daily basis, making appropriate corrections to the system to facilitate accurate processing of payroll and billing.
• Regularly update the direct supervisor about open shifts after making an exhaustive effort to staff the shifts.
• Generate timely reports on caregiver supply and demand for direct supervisor.
• Communicates and reinforces Visiting Angels’ policies and procedures.
• Communicate and refer appropriate matters to the Assistant Director for directions.
• Maintain positive relationships with clients and their families, prospective clients, caregivers, prospective employees, fellow team members, and referral sources.
• Maintain absolute confidentiality of all information pertaining to employees, clients, and clients’ families.
• Demonstrate dependability and reliability.
• Maintain professionalism; provide support and encouragement to the caregiver team.
• Keep on-call materials current with client information, instructions and directions, the current roster of care, and a list of active direct care staff. Prepare and maintain the on-call log, and client and employee records. Manage calls in accordance with company policies.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
• Perform other functions as deemed appropriate by the management team.

• Prior experience scheduling multiple employees and clients
• Ability to listen and communicate clearly fluently and diplomatically
• Able to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor in all situations
• Work independently and proactively with minimum direction or supervision
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, scheduling systems, and other healthcare industry-related software
• Pass a thorough background screening and have excellent employment references
