Job Summary

UT Southwestern Medical Center is hiring for Financial Analyst II to join our Research Finance team. This position will perform senior level research financial analysis. Work involves coordinating all aspect of assigned accounts related to grants and contracts, use tracking tools for project management, tracking payments and billing sponsors, assist leadership with process improvement initiatives related to award and clinical trial management. Successful candidates are self-starters with solid skills in data analytics, business intelligence, budgeting, Excel, Access, financial modeling, and organizational communication. This is a hybrid role that will be based at our main campus in Dallas. Experience with UT Southwestern systems is highly preferred.

Experience and Education

Bachelor\’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field and two (2) years progressively responsible experience in finance and/or accounting with experience in planning, forecasting, and financial analysis.
