Job description
MUST HAVE ACTIVE AK LICENSE
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred) Experience: At least 2 years of general nursing experience Licensure & Certification: A valid, current, full, and unrestricted RN license in the State of Alaska.Basic Life Support certification Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Knowledge of: The nursing process and the ability to apply this knowledge in the working environment Customer service principles Safety and infection control principles Skills in: Assessment, anticipation of needs, and data collection Oral and written communications Ability to: Multi-task and work independently in fast paced environment Team-player Willing to teach when appropriate Problem-solve and use critical thinking skills to develop and maintain good working relations with other staff and departments Willingness to ask for help when encountering a new or challenging situation Perform job using theory-based nursing practice model, evidence based practices and shared governance in a multi-disciplinary team.
