Job description

Conducts planning analysis and studies an provides recommendations. Works closely with and consults stakeholders to design and implement new or enhanced systems, policies and procedures. May develop documentation and training materials.
These positions use specialized software to store and organize data. May be responsible for developing, installing and maintaining specified or assigned applications, improving system performance, and troubleshooting issues. May work with departments, programs or units to evaluate needs, system capacity and resources to design and deploy appropriate applications.

Essential Functions:

60% Develop reports and analytics for various environments with a cloud first approach. Participate in the design and development

of analytics. Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to rapidly deliver pertinent analytics. Participate in training of end users

in creation of analytics as needed. Align all analytics with Institutional data governance standards.

30% Maintain and update the existing reports, analytics, and documentation to ensure compliance with department

standards. Consult with internal and external users and software specialists resolve problems and develop enhancements.

Support and maintain existing analytics including enhancements and bug-fixes.

10% Research, evaluate and implement cloud native tools and architectures to improve scale and performance. Take part in design research and help identify opportunities. Identify and implement technical improvements and solutions.

Additional Position Information:

Required Qualifications: Relevant Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of experience in report and application development. Familiarity with SaaS reporting environments and must possess highly developed computer skills including reporting, software, database, and web browser capabilities. Strong project management, problem solving, communication and technical skills.

Leadership: Functional guidance over nonexempt staff including general scheduling, assigning tasks and monitoring work activities.

Physical Requirements: Job is physically comfortable; individual is normally seated and has discretion about walking, standing, etc. May occasionally lift very lightweight objects.
