Job Title: Senior Director Mechanical Engineer
Location: Gardena, CA (on-site)
Salary: $140-$170k DOE

We're looking for a Senior Director Mechanical Engineer to oversee our Mechanical Engineering Department while still being hands on in all aspects of mechanical engineering design. We are looking for someone who has the technical skills and the construction field experience needed to bring our projects to life.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Senior Director Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for directing and leading the work of engineers in the department and managing projects from design through completion. You will be working closely with other departments to ensure the mechanical design meets the customer's needs, while helping to troubleshoot any problems that arise. You will also be leading the team in the successful execution of projects, while monitoring project progress and providing feedback throughout. You will perform and lead mechanical construction phase services including representing the firm on-site, answering RFIs, reviewing shop drawings and submittals, and preparing record drawings. You will report directly to the President as necessary to resolve technical and coordination issues and conflicting criteria.

What You Need for this Position

Must have at least 15+ years: of experience with:
- Mechanical Engineering (within Mechanical Contracting Industry)
- HVAC, Plumbing, and Piping System Design (AutoCAD / Revit)
- State Building Codes (commercial, residential, healthcare, industrial facilities)
- Project Management

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar field is required.

Professional Engineering (P.E.) License in the state of California is required.
