2024 Lennox Residential HVAC Finance Intern

The Lennox Residential HVAC Finance team plays a critical role in analyzing, forecasting, and reporting financial KPIs. As the Finance Intern, you will gain exposure to our financial reporting and analysis processes while further developing your analytical, spreadsheet, and financial system skills at our Richardson, TX location.

 

What you’ll be doing:

• Gain exposure to top-line financial planning & analysis activities by assisting in forecasting, variance analysis, financial reporting, and scenario planning
• Partner and collaborate with business functions to provide financial support and provide insights that support optimal business decision making
• Learn basic financial technical skills such as financial modeling, advanced Excel, data gathering, handling big data, and data visualization

 

Projects:

• Assist in the enhancement of the Price, Volume, Mix analysis methodology
• Assist in updating key revenue financial forecasting models to reflect new business structure
• Assist in creating new reporting models to provide insights into the business
• Help streamline current month end close processes for faster turnaround

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level.

Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.
