Award winning Environmental Site Investigation and Remediation Consulting firm utilizing innovative and traditional technologies to achieve site resolution and closures; actively seeks mid-level Environmental Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist for our office in San Diego or Walnut Creek, CA.
The successful candidate will work in field and office environment to support environmental site assessment, remediation and construction projects.
Our environmental staff provide services from conceptual planning through investigation; data analysis; technology testing, design, and construction; and site restoration. We perform work at active DoD installations where we work with all security protocols and coordinate with base authorities and other base operations. With over 25 years of experience serving DoD, EPA, and other agencies, we specialize in deliver work at federal facilities.
We strive to anticipate our customers needs with an eye towards for safety, quality, cost and schedule control, and outstanding technical performance. Our investigation, remediation, and restoration services include:
- Remedial investigations / feasibility studies
- RCRA facility investigations and corrective measures studies
- Risk assessments

Mid Level Environmental Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist Minimum Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Geology, Engineering, or related Environmental Science field and 5 years of work experience (flexible) as a geologist, engineer, scientist or position similar in scope and responsibility OR Masters degree in Geology, Engineering, or related Environmental Science field and 3 years of work experience as a geologist, engineer, scientist or position similar in scope and responsibility
Knowledge of RCRA, CERCLA and other environmental regulations
Must be able to pass Federal Background Check and be US citizen to gain access to DoD project sites
Must be pass motor vehicle record check and maintain acceptable driving record
Ability to provide excellent customer service and build rapport with clients and remain responsive to client needs and expectations
Mid Level Environmental Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist Preferred Qualifications, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to become a registered professional (PG, PE) preferred
Current 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred
Ability to critically think, problem solve and make decisions especially while working in the field
Skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project.
Good communicator and team player; able to work independently but understands lines of responsibility
Flexible but with high standards for work products
Demonstrated problem solving ability
Mid Level Environmental Geologist, Environmental Engineer, or Environmental Scientist overall Role and Responsibilities:
Project Planning Documents and Reporting: Responsible for preparing various environmental project documents including work plans, construction quality control plans, health and safety plans, sampling and analysis plans; interpreting complex technical data and preparing technical memorandums and reports.
Field Work: Responsible for field work preparation, procuring necessary subcontracts, materials and equipment; soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, air, and waste characterization sampling per approved plans; lithologic/soil descriptions per standard references; supervision of subcontractors and field crew; and completing required field documentation.
Communication Skills: Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and interact effectively with the project team, customer and stake holders; highly self-motivated; and customer-service-focused team player.
