Job description
Robert Half is seeking a Research and Data Specialist within the Corporate Communications department. Specific responsibilities include:
Research
Develop ongoing workplace surveys for thought leadership in collaboration with internal stakeholders; provide strategic recommendations on survey respondent samples given budget and schedule; work with survey vendor(s) to field surveys; analyze and share survey results with Marketing and Corporate Communications teams to leverage across channels
Collaborate with data science team to guide analyses and data outputs as needed for content programs
Develop summaries of workplace survey results and key takeaways for internal stakeholders and content creators
Pull relevant labor data from government sources to leverage for content and internal reference materials
Assist with ad hoc research requests from Marketing and Corporate Communications teams
Publications/Production
Help Marketing and Corporate Communications teams ensure best use of data in content and internal reference documents (e.g., reports, blog posts, presentations, press releases, emails).
Review data featured in Marketing and Corporate Communications content and internal reference materials for accuracy
Assist with development of research-focused content (e.g., blog posts, bylines, data visualizations), including weaving storytelling into data-rich publications
Content Strategy
Track and curate competitor and third-party research and content/thought leadership via media monitoring and social listening tools to generate dashboards and reports to share with Marketing and Corporate Communications teams to inform content strategy; work with vendors to improve accuracy and analysis of data
Evaluate content programs using a framework of key performance indicators (KPIs)
Support quarterly KPI reports for Corporate Communications, including pulling metrics from media monitoring and social listening tools developing reporting templates and supporting ad hoc metrics requests for communicating our impact to leadership
Required Qualifications
4 years' research experience, including survey design and quantitative analysis
Knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods
Computer literacy skills, including advanced use of Microsoft Excel
Excellent interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work quickly and efficiently under tight deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience translating complex concepts to different audiences (technical and non-technical)
Ability to manipulate survey datasets into tabulated tables using Q software
Experience in data visualization using tools like Tableau or Domo
Experience with query and/or programming languages (e.g., SQL, R, Python)
The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location.
$60,000.00 - $90,000.00
