Job description
Job Summary:
Audi Hampton is currently seeking a skilled and experienced Audi Technician to join our team in Hampton, Virginia. This is a full time, individual contributor role in the Auto industry. As an Audi Technician, you will be responsible for performing various repair and maintenance tasks on Audi vehicles, ensuring they are in top working condition for our customers.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a full time, hourly position with compensation ranging from $17 to $40 per hour, paid semimonthly. Responsibilities:
- Perform diagnostic tests and inspections on Audi vehicles to identify any issues or malfunctions
- Use specialized equipment and tools to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and software problems
- Complete routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used
- Communicate with the Shop Foreman and other team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
- Complete all online manufacturer training/testing
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Technician or similar role
- ASE certification preferred
- Knowledge of vehicles and their systems
- Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Valid driver's license with 3 years clean driving record required
- Some travel required for training( paid by the dealership- up to a week at a time)
