What You’ll Do
In this role you will work in Cloud Management Services team in Teradata Vantage organization to develop cloud services and solutions that manage the Teradata infrastructure on the public cloud platforms – AWS , Azure, and Google Cloud. Responsibilities include: develop automation to deploy, configure and manage Privilege Access Management services, build solutions to integrate third-party security software with Teradata VantageCloud platform that comply with rigorous multi-national security standards.

The future of cloud security depends on technologies and best practices that will ensure cloud architectures are closely safeguarded. Cloud security comprises the tools, methods, and best practices protecting the infrastructure, applications, and data within a cloud deployment. On our team, Cloud Management Services in Teradata Vantage organization, we design and develop solutions for one of the pillars of cloud security – user access management, including Privileged Access Management ( PAM ), Role-Based Access Control ( RBAC ), Event Based Access ( EBA ), access monitoring and auditing for Teradata VantageCloud platform. This position reports to: Sr. Manager, Cloud Engineering.
What Makes You a Qualified Candidate
+ Minimum of 5 years of related experience with a university degree; or 3 years and an advanced degree
+ Strong computer science fundamentals in data structures, algorithm design, and complexity analysis
+ Proficiency in Python, Linux operating system and Bash/Shell
+ Knowledge and experience with microservices and REST APIs
What You’ll Bring
+ Experience with developing services on AWS , Azure, or Google Cloud platform
+ Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery
+ Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Saltstack, CloudFormation
+ Experience with containerization and orchestrations technology such as Docker and Kubernetes
+ Knowledge and experience with database and SQL
+ Experience with Privileged Access Management ( PAM ), Role-Based Access Control ( RBAC ), or Single Sign-On ( SSO ) is a plus
