Job description

SNELLING is currently seeking an Assembly Technician for a client in the Tyler area. The primary function of this position is to perform installation and assembly during the manufacture of custom equipment. The pay will be $18 – 19 / HR or more based on skills and experience. This is a day shift position. Full benefits are offered!

This position will be a temp-to-hire, meaning that SNELLING would work with you through the consideration and interview process and be your employer for a probationary period upon an offer being accepted.

Qualifications to be considered for the Assembly Technician position include:

• Must have 3 plus years in a custom assembly, manufacturing, or construction position
• Must have mechanical aptitude.
• Must be able to read a tape measure and have familiarity with hand tools
• Must have the ability to operate table saw and other power tools
• Ability to reads and works from blueprints and other schematic drawings.
• Experience with wiring installation
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
• Valid driver’s license preferred
