Job description
Position DescriptionResponsible for coordination of virtual care scheduling and registration for programs including tele-ER, tele-critical care, virtual on-demand, and AU Health telemedicine outreach clinics. Assists the Virtual Care Operations teams with the implementation of the overall virtual care strategy by ensuring superior customer service is delivered to patients, rural partners, and providers. Responsible for scheduling & registration of patients for tele-ER, tele-CCU, and virtual on-demand patients. This includes scheduling in IDX, telehealth platforms, and communication/documentation in Cerner.
Position RequirementsHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent from a recognized State or Federal accrediting organization. 2 years or more of experience in Medical Office/Health Care or related setting. Customer Service, Basic Computer and MS Office, Calculator. Working knowledge of information systems, insurance processes, medical terminology. Experience managing a high volume of callers through a multi-line phone system.
Preferred Requirements2 years or more of experience in healthcare call center experience or clinical experience.
