We are an insulation construction company working entirely on commercial properties across the greater Northwestern US taking on projects of all shapes and sizes. We are looking to bring on a Assistant Project Manager with a background working on commercial properties to help oversee our projects to ensure that our teams are working efficiently, safely, and effectively.
This position will have you working on insulation materials but YOU DO NOT NEED THAT TYPE OF BACKGROUND! We are open to hiring Project Managers with a proven background in Commercial construction who are open to learning about our industry and value employees who are excited about learning new concepts on the job.
What You Will Be Doing
- Prepare budgets and project plans for every phase of construction (preconstruction to closeout)
- Create project documentation including estimates and proposals on new projects as well as monitor project progress to create change orders as needed
- Review project proposals and plans to establish deadlines and staffing requirements
- Establish work plans and tracking metrics for each project and monitor project quality control efforts
- Coordinate with superintendents and crews to ensure delivery according to deadlines and schedules
- Handle planning/scheduling of all contractors/subcontractors
What You Need for this Position
The Construction Project Manager must have at least 2 years of experience working in construction and be familiar with:
- Must have at least 1 years of experience working on Commercial Projects
- Background handling project scheduling tasks and coordinating crews
- Knowledge of submittal writing as well as creating job specific reports and safety/quality plans
- Proven experience with project management tasks and handling a solid portfolio of projects at the same time
- Experience with modern construction scheduling and project softwares (Procore, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, etc..)
Nice to Have:
- Bachelor's Degree in Project Management, Construction, or related field
- Professional certifications highly desired (OSHA, etc.)
