Position Overview: As the Director of Finance, you will oversee all financial aspects of our organization's operations, with a focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting within the healthcare sector. You will play a critical role in guiding financial decision-making, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and driving financial performance to support our mission of delivering exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Strategy:

   • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the organization's mission, vision, and strategic objectives.
   • Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and the board of directors.

2. Financial Planning and Analysis:

   • Lead the annual budgeting process and ongoing forecasting activities, incorporating input from department heads and stakeholders.
   • Conduct financial analysis to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and support decision-making.

3. Financial Reporting:

   • Oversee the preparation and distribution of accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external stakeholders, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
   • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements, including GAAP and healthcare industry regulations.

4. Revenue Cycle Management:

   • Collaborate with revenue cycle management teams to optimize revenue generation, billing processes, and reimbursement strategies.
   • Monitor revenue cycle metrics and implement initiatives to improve cash flow and reduce revenue leakage.

5. Cost Management:

   • Manage and control costs across the organization, including operating expenses, capital expenditures, and cost-saving initiatives.
   • Implement cost-effective financial strategies while maintaining high-quality patient care standards.

6. Audit and Compliance:

   • Coordinate financial audits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including HIPAA, CMS, and other healthcare industry regulations.
   • Address audit findings and implement corrective actions as needed.

7. Team Leadership:

   • Lead and mentor the finance team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
   • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the finance department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; CPA designation required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles within the healthcare industry, with at least 7 years in a leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of healthcare finance, including revenue cycle management, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare regulations.
• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends.
• Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization.
• Proficiency in financial software and systems, preferably with experience in healthcare-specific systems.
