Summary:
- Work Hours: 8 am - 5 pm; working 4 days a week from home and one day in the office on Wednesdays. This position has the opportunity for an extension. We are looking to find a candidate for FTE conversion.
Required Skills:

- Advanced knowledge of legal terminology to interpret and draft standard legal documents.
- Advanced analytical thinking Intermediate written and/oral communication skills
- Intermediate skill in conducting legal research and organizing and summarizing information from divergent sources, including legal and non-legal reference sources with emphasis on electronic research

- Intermediate organization and prioritization skills.
- Experience with eDiscovery/Document Production a plus.
- Education Requirements (Experience in Lieu of Degree): Associates in Paralegal Studies or certification in paralegal studies .
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Can you give a high-level overview of your team size, roles, its initiatives/deliverables, and any tool/technologies specific to your team/department/project they will be supporting: This paralegal will be part of the Litigation and Risk Management team which is comprised of (1) senior manager, (1) employment attorney, (1) litigation manager, (1) litigation associate, and (1) litigation paralegal. We also have a legal assistant that supports the team.
- What would "a day in the life" of this role look like? The paralegal will manage subpoena requests, attend meetings with the attorneys and provide support for HR or Ethics investigations, assist the litigation team with management of cases (these matters are handled by outside counsel, but we provide support by gathering documentation, etc.).
- What interaction level with this role have the team members and hiring manager? They will have regular interaction with the team and be included in meetings on cases, etc. They should still be able to work independently and be proactive.
- What would you say is the top priority for the worker over the first few weeks/months? Help with managing subpoena productions and active cases/investigations.
- What do you foresee being the biggest challenge in this role? Knowing who to contact in the business to get documents/information.
