Sales team.
Your Role
As the leader of a dedicated team, the Vice President for Key Account Development in our Industrial vertical, you'll orchestrate the management of existing and new accounts across the region. Your focus on the Industrial market and will be complemented by your team's collaborative efforts. You will report to the North American Head of Sales and Marketing.
Your Responsibilities
- Set annual targets/objectives for direct reports and vertical customer portfolio based on Key Account Planning process
- Convert industry strategy into market and customer initiatives and manage vertical sales organization to achieve strategic goals
- Drive account portfolio growth and maintain an attractive pipeline in CoreLOG
- Lead, coach, and evaluate Global Key Account Managers and focus on recruitment with a strong hunting approach
- Build internal and external industry network relations and represent KN as a lead expert for assigned industry
- Develop solutions with BU's and key accounts based on industry value propositions and innovative services/products
- Promote knowledge sharing within the Account Management Team through content leadership and workshops
- Involved and consulted in the hiring of Regional Business Development Heads and Global Key Account Managers
Your Skills and Experiences
- Creative ability in developing team-based sales strategies and solutions
- 5+ years of international sales experience (i.e. selling sea freight and air freight solutions)
- 5+ years of people development experience in a managerial role
- 5+ years of experience in Industrial sector
