Job description
Baptist Health Medical Group is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine hospitalist to join our team at Baptist Health LaGrange Hospital in LaGrange, KY. Our physician-led program is seeking an energetic and compassionate physician to join us.
- Currently 2 MDs
- Open ICU, intubation included
- Shift a 15/month with NO ATO
- Day shift - 7a 7p
- Night shift 7p 7a 1 MD on each of these shifts
-The shifts are both day and night mostly day as there a pool of prns that cover nights. The nights vary but probably 5 or less.
- Dont have a 7on/7off schedule right now but if preferred, it could be accommodated. Usually do 4 days at a time which allows for more life/work balance.
- Hospitalists do all the admitting.
- Have a full-time NP that usually works days but sometimes works nights. If it is busy, will be on days with the MD.
- Average patient load during the day is 10-18; 15 on average depending on season.
