Dessert Holdings is looking for a Warehouse Manager , who is responsible for the overall operation of the warehouse including receiving of materials, storage and inventory of materials, supply management and shipping of finished products. The Warehouse Manager leads a team of 9 warehouse associates supporting two shift operations. This position is at our Kennesaw, Georgia facility.

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Create and manage receiving, shipping, and warehousing processes and procedures, and audit staff compliance (FIFO, Inventory control).
• Ensure compliance to the use of the department systems
• Conduct physical counts of materials, finished goods and reconcile with data to maintain accurate inventory levels.
• Prepare an annual budget, plan out expenses, analyze any variances, and make necessary corrections to help company achieve financial objective
• Schedule and control labor cost against plan.
• Ability to develop, and train team against Standard Operating Procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement within the department.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate employees to meet job expectations and use of performance management process.
• Prepare, maintain, and analyze various reports, noting trends and actionable items.
• Prepare action plans for new and/or existing processes that maximize efficiencies while maintaining exceptional quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS

• 3 to 5 years of experience managing a warehouse in a food production environment.
• Prior experience and demonstrated success with process improvement
• Demonstrated focus on safety through modeling behavior and influence
• Prior experience coaching and developing a team
• Ability to provide clear and strategic direction
