Job description
Adecco is assisting a customer in recruiting for a Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver opening in Miramar, FL. This is a Temp to Perm opportunity. As Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for picking orders, processing shipping documents & loading and unloading merchandise. Responsibilities for this Shipping & Receiving Forklift Driver includes, but is not limited to:· Pick items from purchase order using Electric Pallet Jack and Sit-down Forklift
· Use RF Scanner to scan items picked and package and prepare shipping documents.
· Process Cycle Count Inventory
· The tasks require work standing all day and lifting up to 50 lbs.
· Wear safety shoes with steel toe caps.
· Wear/use safety vest.
· Reporting any damaged boxes.
· Keeping area clean of debris.
Qualifications:
Must have at least 2 years prior experience driving a sit-down forklift and must have an unexpired forklift certification card.
Experience with shipping software platforms to include FedEx Ship Manager, UPS WorldShip, Logicore shipping systems and the like (Agile, Cirrus, Global Ship, Etc.)
Must have prior experience using power jacks & hand trucks.
Must have computer skills and previous experience using the RF Scanner.
Ability to stand a full shift and carry 50lb boxes the full 8 hours of work.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Be able to clear a drug test and criminal background check.
Must be fluent in the English language.
Schedule: Full-Time – 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday and able to work OT as needed.
Pay for this position is $18.00 per hour.
