A multi-disciplinary engineering and consulting firm with locations around PA, NJ, and DE is actively hiring Survey Technicians to join their team for large construction projects. They have an immediate need for a Survey Technician for projects around Dover, Delaware.

+ Competitive Starting Pay Rate: $20-$30 Per Hour, Based on Experience Level

+ Ability to Work Significant Overtime

:

- Will work primarily in the field on control, boundary, topographic, and construction stakeout surveys

- Perform mathematical calculations

- Willing and able to continually learn new techniques and processes as well as operate various types of equipment to become more efficient

- Assist other survey crews, if necessary

- Occasionally work with other disciplines as needed

- Frequently travel to various worksites

Skills & Qualifications:

- 0-2 years of experience in civil and transportation related surveying is preferred

- A high school diploma, or equivalent, is required

- Strong Communication Skills

- Valid driver’s license with demonstrated safe driving practices

- The ability to obtain clearances to permit working on-site for certain clients is required

- Ability to lift 50 pounds and walk long distances

- Must be able to work overtime as needed
