Job description

This is a 12 week program from May 20, 2024 through August 9, 2023. You must be able to attend the entirety of the internship program to be considered.

Job Summary:

Panasonic is looking for an intern to join our innovative teams in the IT Infrastructure Team. Panasonic seeks a self-directed IT intern with a passion for technology, collaboration, and creative problem-solving. Our team members are hard-working, goal-oriented, and creative, and they are looking for interns to train. The intern hired for this position should expect to learn all facets of the Service Desk, Server Team, Network Team, and IT Asset Management. The intern will actively contribute to meaningful projects and work closely with a mentor and with senior leadership.

Panasonic Energy of North America (PENA) is collaborating with Tesla at a massive battery factory near Reno, Nevada which is known for its quality of life and expansive outdoor adventures. Panasonic's role at the Gigafactory is to manufacture and supply cylindrical lithium-ion cells to Tesla for their electric vehicles and energy storage systems.

Supplemental Information:

Pre-employment drug testing is required. Due to the high volume of responses, we will only be able to respond to candidates of interest. All candidates must have valid authorization to work in the U.S. without restriction.

Hourly Range: $24-$30

The minimum hourly wage for this role will be the greater of the posted range, or minimum wage for the location where the employee will be working, subject to local minimum wage requirements.
