Addison Group is looking for a dedicated Accounting Associate to join the dynamic team and support one of our leading IT clients. This is a full-time, on-site position that offers competitive compensation of up to $27 per hour, dependent on relevant experience. *This role is on-site, and is only eligible for local MN candidates*

Key Qualifications:

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses the following qualifications:

• Strong full-cycle accounts payable experience, which includes tasks such as 3-way matching, coding invoices, posting to the general ledger (GL), conducting reconciliations, and maintaining effective vendor communication.
• A well-rounded understanding of accounts receivable functions and the ability to provide support as needed.

  Responsibilities:

• Collect necessary approvals for vendor invoices and assemble essential documentation for Purchase Order invoices, facilitating the completion of three-way matching.
• Maintain and configure customer data, equipment records, and contract information within the ERP.
• Vendor communication - manage the distribution of workflow tasks and inquiries via email inbox.
• Conduct in-depth research and resolution of invoice disputes and other billing inquiries raised by customers.
• Obtain detailed information on payments posted to the bank and apply these payments to outstanding invoices for precise record-keeping.
• Review daily deposits, resolve any discrepancies, and accurately record customer payments.
• Provide support for audit processes as necessary, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
• Perform any other relevant duties as assigned by the team.
