About the job
The main role of the Associate Product Manager is to support downstream commercial marketing efforts in the U.S., working closely with sales and marketing teams. This involves tasks such as developing a strong marketing funnel, creating sales training content, supporting education for physicians and customers, and analyzing market data. The manager will also be involved in maintaining a robust marketing funnel, executing digital marketing campaigns, creating promotional materials, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute downstream marketing activities to increase product awareness and track sales opportunities.
- Partner with Corporate Marketing Communications for digital campaigns and assess their effectiveness.
- Develop and update competitive intelligence, establish product positioning, and support sales force training.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure commercial success.
- Occasionally work with surgeons and sales representatives in operating room settings.
- Manage and attend major conventions to promote products
- Responsible for managing assigned expenses within budget.
Requirements:
- BS in Marketing or Business Administration preferred.
- 1-2 years of successful sales or marketing experience in the medical device industry.
- Experience in the specific market segment is preferred.
- Understanding of basic digital marketing principles and tools.
- Experience using a CRM system (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) preferred.
- High level of personal responsibility, creative problem-solving skills, and ability to lead interdisciplinary teams.
- Proven ability to execute projects within timeline and budget.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Travel requirements: 40-50%.
- Ability to meet with customers at hospitals and be a member of a credentialing agency.
- Must work in Princeton NJ office (onsite/hybrid)
