Position Summary
The AVP of Learning serves as a Department Leader for the L&D function, leads, and develops a team of Learning Advisors, and manages learning vendor relationships, and contracts.
In this role, the AVP of (Business Partnerships) will oversee Vensure department learning relationships and ensure Learning Advisors partner and deliver learning experiences to their assigned group. The AVP will build and monitor learning data, development programs, and KPIs for the department. In partnership with other learning leaders will help build learning tools and standardize learning experience throughout the enterprise. The AVP will work with global teams: multi-layered business leaders and individual contributors throughout the organization to help identify learning objectives, design content and learning experiences that align with our business goals. The AVP will serve a learning thought partner through data, learning methods and strong business acumen to create, influence and deliver learning and development experiences throughout the organization. The AVP will design and deliver learning ecosystems, learning communication, internal department sites, business process improvement projects and participate in other Vensure business projects
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead a team of Learning Advisors, create team development plans, job descriptions, career pathing and deliver learning experiences for team.
- Manage Employee Lifecycle Process: Interview, hire, onboard, performance manage, EE development, discipline, recognition, termination.
- Responsible for team Employee Engagement and Experience.
- Manage and monitor Learning Systems, Vendor relationship, and budget for learning systems and tools.
- Manage department comms, learning department marketing campaigns and internal sites.
- Manage and audit learning data and present monthly and quarterly outcomes.
- Create and manage department strategic plans with quarterly goals and business alignment.
- Design, build and maintain learning products, tools, and templates for global standardization.
- Manage content and subscription access for learning materials through learning vendors.
- Assist with or manage learning policy development, and EE learning incentive program.
- Manage compliance training programs.
- Partner with business units, various levels of leadership, and stakeholders, and maintain relationships.
- Conduct needs analysis, analyze responsibilities, skills, capabilities, and performance needs, and propose targeted learning solutions to close gaps, evolve capability, and align with business objectives.
- Design and build adult learning strategies, solutions, and activities leveraging L&D products and tools.
- Conduct and facilitate virtual and in-person training, practice labs, and workshops.
- Recommend and build measurement tools, assessments, and knowledge checks for specific solutions.
- Collaborate with global teams to explore new tools, methods, and technologies for improved learning experiences.
- Internal lead for special learning programs.
- Curate, create, facilitate, and manage multi-tiered Leadership, Professional, and Personal Development Programs and assist Learning Advisors and department trainers with building their department training programs

Education & Experience
- 10+ years of corporate experience
- 10+ years of Learning, HR or Relevant experience
- 5+ years of Leadership/ Management experience
- 5+ years of Vendor Management/ Relationship Management and Department budget management
- 7+ Senior Leadership and/ or executive partnerships, Business Strategy, Goal and Business Objective Alignment
- 10+ years in corporate learning, instructional design or equivalent and department/business partnerships
- 10+ years experience with a Learning Management System (LMS) or Learning Experience Platform (LXP) and learning product and content development
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field equivalent combination of experience, skills, education (including other relevant non-traditional degree programs, certifications, or job training programs) required.
