Overview



Tufts University’s Tisch Library seeks an innovative and collaborative colleague to join us as Student Success Librarian and continue our growth within the context of our 2024 strategic framework .



What You'll Do



The Student Success Librarian designs and implements instruction and outreach with a focus on the undergraduate student experience, including instructional design for the library’s first-year writing instruction program. This position includes participating in engagement, outreach, and orientation initiatives for undergraduate students, focusing particularly on identifying and addressing barriers to student use of library collections, services, and spaces. As a member of the User Experience & Student Success Department, the Student Success Librarian also serves as a liaison to assigned departments, provides research consultations, and participates in the evaluation and development of online and in-person services and learning spaces. The Librarian in this position works both collaboratively and independently, with a focus on inclusive, learner-centered pedagogy.

This is a full-time, 12-month hybrid position.

This full-time, full-year position is hybrid and includes work that can be done remotely as well as work that must be done on-site (e.g. classroom instruction and other programming, training, and collaboration).



Pay Range


Minimum $63,600.00, Midpoint $79,500.00, Maximum $95,400.00




Salary is based on related experience, expertise, and internal equity; generally, new hires can expect pay between the minimum and midpoint of the range.
