The incumbent provides technical support and guidance to both new and existing customers, work with other departments to provide the most innovative, reliable, cost effective products and assists clients with solutions to technical questions and problems.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Responds to customers inquiries in a timely, efficient manner
- Assist with research and development projects
- Processing and evaluating returns
- Provides technical, commercial and application guidance to internal and external staff
- Receives and reviews customer inquiries
- Provides pre and post sale technical support that enhances Bella's reputation for superior customer service and in-field technical support
- Keeps up to date on new product development, system improvements and departmental procedures
- Provides backup support for parts orders
REQUIRED JOB SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate's degree in electrical technology, manufacturing, or a related field is strongly desired
- experience in technical support or technical sales in a manufacturing environment ideal
- Ability to effectively communicate with clients
- Sales or customer relations experience is strongly desired
- Working knowledge, understanding, and interpretation of industry regulations
- Exceptional time management skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department and the company and foster teamwork
- Ability to maintain the professional competence, knowledge, and skills necessary for the satisfactory performance of all assigned responsibilities
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project
- The ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in text, math and diagram form
- Strong problem solving skills and the ability to independently prioritize tasks, issues, and information is essential
