Job description
As the VP Finance you:
What you'll do:
- Lead annual budgeting and monthly forecasting process for rapidly growing global organization, including analysis and review of financial results / projections, as well as the creation of presentation materials.
- Oversee preparation of monthly management reporting packages, including flash books, forecast books, and global Project P&Ls, and conduct variance analysis and commentary for senior management.
- Work with senior management to develop annual strategic plan to drive revenue, market share and profitability.
- Evaluate investment opportunities, prepare deal analysis, and other strategic new business investments
- Participate in financial due diligence for approved deals and work with partners develop financial business plans consistent with contractual terms for new ventures.
- Define global management reporting requirements and drive efficiency in collection of financial and non-financial data, international operating companies and corporate departments.
- Drive change and adoption of best practices through competitive and internal benchmarking and bespoke financial and market analysis.
- Develop simple standardized, insightful dashboards and financial reporting that can be leveraged by senior management and regional teams.
- Develop relationships with all finance teams, senior management, labels, and international affiliates.
- Manage and help define a growing finance organization, currently a team of 6
- Reports to COO
Who you are:
- 10-15 years Finance and/or Accounting experience within a publicly-traded organization.
- Experience or exposure to high growth start-up strongly preferred
- CPA required, MBA strongly preferred
- Experience in Fashion / D2C Brand / Music preferred.
- Strong leadership skills with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude.
- Excellent analytical and finance skills.
- Big picture strategic thinking.
- Strong oral and written presentation skills, including PowerPoint slide creation.

California Pay Range
$180,000—$230,000 USD
