Description:
Day - 6am-4:30pm - 1 opening on day shift
Must Haves:
- Ability to read a tape measure
- 1 year production experience
- Able to stand and work for 10 hour shifts
Small company with 27 employees, they produce rubber extruded parts for a variety of industries, trucking being their largest customer. They offer great benefits upon going direct as well as bonuses related to production.
Prepare dies for use and proper cleaning of dies
Set up, operate, and clean extruders
Operate co-extrusion equipment
Puller operation and control
Packaging product
Inventory control
Use of calibers and tape measure
Operate grinders
Understand quality specs required
Tractor operation and control
Mix material and color matching
Procedure for running material (drying, adhesive tape, part-marking, cutting, etc.)
Handling of finished goods (such as, coiling)
Operate variety of other equipment that may include grinders and a mill
Forklift operation and safety
Use of measuring and calibrated equipment
Proper use of chemicals and bonding agents
Location and use of SDS
Understand safety rules
Understand quality policies and procedures
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-1 year of manufacturing experience required
-Speak, read, and write English to communicate information to English speaking staff and complete paperwork in English
-Dependable and reliable (shows up on time and gets the job done)
-Learns quickly and retains the information well
-On their feet most of the day
-Experience using calipers and measuring tape
-Ability to maneuver 50 pounds
