Believe in the Change! Position Responsibilities - Developing and monitoring health plans for students.
- Treat students and staff as needed.
- Educate students and staff on health and wellness.
- Administer medications to students.
- Provide basic healthcare to students in case of injury or acute illness.
Qualifications - Registered Nurse (RN) license preferred, will consider LPN
- BLS/CPR Certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities - Ability to work independently or with others.
- Knowledge of many areas of health.
- Ability to assess situations and act quickly
- Knowledge of state health regulations.
- Ensure compliance with national and local health laws.
- Ensure school environment is safe for children and school staff (e.g. prevention of communicable diseases)
Salary : $26 - $35 depending on qualifications and experience
Contract : 7.5 hours per day, 188 School Days per year
School Safety Clearance : The successful candidate will be subject to a fingerprint and background check as a condition of employment. All fees require for this check (estimated $73) are the responsibility of the successful applicant.
