Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver live and on-demand training programs using recognized learning techniques and tools.
- Facilitate learning through a variety of delivery methods.
- Meet with employees to discuss current development needs and future career goals.
- Design and apply assessment tools to measure training effectiveness.
- Track and report on training outcomes
- Provide support to other CDTA training programs led by internal technical trainers.
- Assist / support the training needs and onboarding process for new employees.
- Partner with internal stakeholders regarding employee training needs
- Organize, develop, or source training programs to meet specific training needs.
- Cultivate a network of SME’s who can assist CDTA with our training needs.
- Develop training aids such as presentation materials, handouts, and workbooks.
- Manage and stay organized within existing training budgets.
- Develop relationships with local institutions of learning (HVCC, SUNY, SCCC)
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in education, Organizational Development, or a related field
- Minimum of three years of learning and development experience including live and online training
- Ability to apply adult learning principles in training design, presentation, teaching, and evaluation methods.
- Strong live facilitation and public speaking skills
- Apply effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to a diverse population of employees.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
- Demonstrated ability to multi-task and deliver on deadlines.
- Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems.
- Work autonomously with initiative
Salary Range:
Grade 616 ($63,458-$78,053/salary)
