Job description

Nexeo is seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Tech nologist to join our team in Provo, UT. The CT Tech will be responsible for performing high-quality CT procedures, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining compliance with department protocols and standards. Apply now!

Responsibilities 

• Ensure proper patient identification, order verification, and preparation for exams.

• Perform CT exams per department protocol with attention to detail and accuracy.

• Demonstrate proficiency in cross-sectional anatomy and anatomical positioning.

• Adhere to radiation safety protocols and ALARA principles.

• Administer contrast materials as ordered by physicians under supervision.

• Practice infection control and sterile techniques.

• Provide patient education and ensure patient comfort throughout procedures.

• Operate CT equipment and related information systems effectively.

• Complete all required documentation accurately and promptly.

• Follow appropriate protocol for medical necessity, coding, charging, and consent procedures.

• Maintain a current QC program for ACR and report any equipment failures or problems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in CT.

• ARRT registered technologist.

• Current Utah State licensure (for positions in Utah).

• Basic life support (BLS) certified for healthcare providers.

• Post-hire expectations: Meets departmental IV certification competency within three months of hire, must complete the controlled substance module within six months of hire (where applicable), and must complete the initial moderate sedation module within six months of hire (where applicable)

Pay 

$73.00 - $75.00 Per Hour 

Schedule 

Grave Shift | Rotating Schedule | 7 Days On* | 7 Days Off

*4, 10-Hour Shifts Followed by 3, 12-Hour Shifts.
