Job description

Description of Service Opportunity:
Oversee the daily logistics of the after school tutoring program at their site, including staff attendance, program schedule, and dismissal procedures, in collaboration with the Site Coordinator.
Support the material needs of program tutors and assist in the facilitation of transition and enrichment activities as part of a 60-90 minute after school program.
Cultivate positive relationships with students to maintain and foster a school climate that promotes high expectations of all students. .
Participate as needed in the district team meetings to support the consistency of programming district-wide.
Provide substitute coverage, at the lead teacher rate of $60 per hour
All staff will receive training around the program's data collection programming and research/evidence-based methodologies. Initial orientation dates will be provided with the hiring offer. Additional training dates and times will be determined based on site tutors' professional development needs.

Minimum Requirements:
Experience working with school age children in a diverse urban setting.
Strong organizational and classroom management skills.
Ability to collaborate with colleagues in support of students.
Preference given to staff from Cambridge Public School District.

Length of Contract:
February 5, 2024 to June 15, 2024

Contract Amount:
$22 per hour, Not to exceed $3212.00
