Avalon Veterinary Hospital has provided Pittsburgh pet owners with high standards of medical care for over 50 years. Our 4-doctor hospital is equipped to handle every aspect of veterinary care from preventative medicine to Surgery. Our veterinarians and technicians are committed to excellence and practice many Fear Free techniques to keep our patients comfortable. It is our goal to equip our clients with the knowledge they need to make informed decisions about their pet care through education, transparency, clear and open communication.
The hospital uses digital radiography, digital dental radiography, Zoetis in house blood analyzers (hematology and chemistry), and Idexx sedivue for in house urinalysis for quality diagnostics. We perform dental work, mass removals, spay/neuter, tail amputations and cystotomies as part of our services.
Exciting news, Avalon will has moved to a brand new, state-of-the-art hospital !! Our new location is 20 mins from Downtown Pittsburgh, 20 mins from the Pittsburgh Zoo & Aquarium,
walking distance to a lot of restaurants and an upscale Shopping Mall (Ross Park Mall). Plus it is surrounded by Golf Clubs and Parks!!

Requirements: - Licensed PA Veterinarian (active and clear)
- 2+ Years Veterinarian Experience required
