Job description

Summary:

Operate a light vehicle such as a box truck, with a capacity of less than 26,000 pounds Gross Vehicle Weight, to deliver and pick up tires at customer locations. Must be able to unload and load tires of light to heavy weight. A positive demeanor and customer-service oriented approach is essential. Collecting payments and bills in an orderly manner to be turned in at the end of route. When needed you must be able to perform Warehouse operational work, such as picking tires on an order picker and loading or unloading trucks.

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the competencies and or ability required. Be able to qualify for an employer provided DOT Medical card.

Have a valid drivers license with a good driving record.

Work Environment:

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions. The truck may or may not be air conditioned/heated seasonally. The employee must regularly lift up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific visions abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Education and experience:

High school diploma or equivalency, commercial driving and/or warehouse experience preferred.
