Job description
Vedge is an iconic Philadelphia restaurant in Center City by Chefs Kate Jacoby and Rich Landau. With a new location in West Chester (Ground Provisions), we are currently building our Management team and interested in interviewing a part OR full time Operations Manager. Qualified candidates have Management experience and are interested in taking a new step in their career. Must have experience in high end and fast paced dining, strong leadership qualities and excellent administrative skills as well as reliable transportation to pivot between remote work and visiting multiple locations. Impressive beverage knowledge and hospitality instincts are essential, as well as some experience in inventory management, payroll and benefits administartion. Must be RAMP trained, willing to work across mulitple teams and concepts, with excellent trouble shooting skills.
Main responsibilities include communication between ownership and individual management teams to oversee daily operations and meet short and long term goals. Duties include supervising recruitment and labor, inventory, organizational and maintenance plans, assistance with events and social media, plus ability to supervise or participate in service if needed.
