Nesco Resource is hiring Receiving Clerks in the Canonsburg PA area.
Position Type: Full-Time, 1st Shift 7:00am -3:00pm (Monday - Friday)

Position Overview: As a Shipping Clerk, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods through our warehouse. Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the accurate and efficient packing, labeling, and shipping of products. This role demands physical agility, excellent organizational skills, and unwavering attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities: - Precision in Packaging: Carefully inspect and package products according to established standards, ensuring that each item is accurately labeled, protected, and ready for shipment.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, tracking all incoming and outgoing shipments with meticulous attention to detail.
- Quality Assurance: Perform quality checks to ensure that all products meet our high-quality standards before they are shipped to customers.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including safe lifting and material handling practices, to ensure a safe and accident-free work environment.
- Efficiency: Collaborate with team members to streamline shipping processes and minimize turnaround times.
- Documentation: Complete shipping documents and maintain organized records to facilitate efficient tracking and traceability.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or shipping role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift for up to 8 hours per day.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
