The Brunswick Job Corps Center provides students with the opportunity to earn their High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED), and hands-on training in the following areas: Certified Nurse Assistant, Clinical Medical Assistant, Medical Administration Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Plumbing, Painting, Security and Protective Services, HVAC, Landscaping, Electrical, and Building Construction Technology.

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team at Brunswick Job Corps. Responsibilities:
Conduct health assessments and screenings for students, identifying and addressing their healthcare needs.
Administer medications, treatments, and immunizations in accordance with established protocols.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive healthcare plans for students.
Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate care as needed.
Educate students on health-related topics, promoting wellness and preventive care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Work closely with the interdisciplinary team to promote a holistic and student-centered approach to healthcare.
Compiles and submits all required reports and plans per DOL/Corporate policy when directed.
Ensures adequate staff coverage to meet the needs and requirements of the student population.
Oversight and management of the wellness budget in conjunction with the Wellness Director to identify and secure cost-saving measures.
Works with Safety and Security Department to complete and submit required Significant Incident Reports.
Proactively manages the Centers medical separation process and provides students with the required medical services and referrals to ensure student return and completion of the Job Corps program.
Participates as an active member of the Center HEALs (Healthy Eating, ACTIVE Lifestyles) Committee. May serve as the chairperson of the HEALs Committee.
Provides required/supplemental training for new and current employees.
Motivates and manages staff to work effectively, creates a supportive work environment, recognizes staff accomplishments and proactively addresses staff performance concerns.
Mentors, monitors and models the Career Success Standards as the PRH requires.
Shows respect and courtesy to students and holds them accountable for their actions and behavior.
Provides quality programs and services for students and ensures that quality is maintained and student needs are met. Pursues improvement and enhancement of programs and services.
Exchanges ideas and information, both orally and in writing, clearly and concisely and contributes meaningfully to group efforts by offering relevant ideas and knowledge. Provides quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested.
Works in partnership with staff from all Departments to ensure adequate supervision and services are provided to students.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Minimum of an Associate of Arts degree in nursing. Active, unrestricted license to practice in state where center is located. Three years of health care experience, with at least one year in a supervisory capacity required. Regional approval required
