Job description
A leading food manufacturer is looking to fill an EHS Manager vacancy for their plant in the Sheboygan, WI area. This person will be tasked with driving a strong safety culture and handling environmental reporting. They will work alongside plant and corporate leadership to develop and implement EHS policies and procedure that maintain successful safety programs.
The Role:
Developing, strategizing and implementing a long-term plan for the EHS function
Driving a culture of safety across the business to reduce injuries and accidents
Promoting continuous improvement efforts in the EHS function, conducting regular inspections and incident investigations.
Interact with regulatory agencies to maintain compliance with company and government standards
The Candidate:
Bachelor’s Degree in EHS, IH, or a related technical field preferred
3+ years’ EHS experience within a food, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing environment
Demonstrated communication skills
