Job Title: Lead Data Engineer

Job Description/Responsibilities:

We are looking for the candidates to understand the current architecture design, become an advocate for the design for the organization, and have the expertise to understand when and how to use which tools.

Responsibilities:

• This person will be expected to dig into the current state and follow a reference architecture to determine the appropriate tools, design and engineering steps to realize desired future state.
• This person will help in creating the pipeline and help the organization rely more on automation.
• Candidates must demonstrate strong experience with data modeling, Python scripting, modern data warehouse (data lake) design and engineering.
• Experienced with fully managed, self-managed cloud native data processing platforms and modern data warehouses in both benefits, challenges and integration opportunities.
• Experience with informatica for ETL.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Tech skills: Data modeling, AWS EMR, Snowflake, PySpark, python. Nice to have: other AWS tools e.g. Glue
